TOWNSHIP NOTICE

Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Public Act 267 of 1976, the Maple Forest Township Board will meet on the following dates and times during the 2026 fiscal year. All meetings will be held the second Monday of each month (beginning 4-11-22) at the Maple Forest Township Hall located on Sherman Road. Meetings will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.

January 12, 2026

February 9, 2026

March 9, 2026

April 13, 2026

May 11, 2026

June 8, 2026

July 13, 2026

August 10, 2026

September 14, 2026

October 12, 2026

November 9, 2026

December 14, 2026

Notice of all Special Meetings or any changes in Regular Board Meetings will be posted at the township hall a minimum of 18 hours in advance.

BOARD OF REVIEW:

The Maple Forest Board of Review will meet the following 2025 dates:

March 3, 2026 at 9:00 am. – Organizational Meeting

March 9, 2026 from 9:00 am. - 12:00 pm. and 1:00 pm. - 4:00 pm.

March 12, 2026 from 1:00 pm. – 4:00 pm. and 6:00 pm. – 9:00 pm.

July 21, 2026 at 9:00am

December 15th, 2026 at 9:00am

All Board of Review Meetings are held at the Maple Forest Township Hall, 8996 Sherman Road, Grayling, MI.

PLANNING COMMISSION:

The planning commission meets on the third Tuesday of every January, April, July, and October:
